Today went better so far! We went to school earlier got there around 9am and we were able to play in the classroom for more time! We had music time and Karina danced! She practiced going up and down the stairs and her friend tried to help show her how to do it! We have been working on going backwards to get down from places instead of forward which is how she usually tries, and then ends up falling. She's starting to get the idea, with LOTS of reminding and a little bit of guiding. Then we had snack and she sat at the table and spilled her milk all over...oh well, thats how we learn. Then we went outside and she played for awhile at the water table with her friends. Then she got tired so instead of making her wait i took her for a ride in the truck, she fell asleep fast! Then i parked at the beach near the school and it was about an hour before she started to wake up. We went back to school just as her friends were going back inside. Then she got to sit at the table again and eat lunch! It was great to see her interacting with her friends and teachers more today. I tried to give her some more space and not help and hover so much. After lunch they have nap time, but Karina was ready to play so we came home for the day.
She seems to be in a better mood since she got more of a regular nap!
